We wanted to take a moment to express our thanks for the great service call we experienced today. Doug and Chris arrived within the scheduled service call window. Doug took the time to listen to our concerns about our gas fireplace and the processes we previously undertook in our attempt to eliminate the problem. Doug & Chris went right to work, explaining what they thought might be the problem. They had the problem resolved and service/maintenance completed within the hour. They were courteous, polite, professional and careful to protect against damage to our furniture and floors. These guys get a 5 star rating from us!!

When I went to your Bellville showroom and indicated that I was interested in purchasing a pellet stove, the attendant called Brian Wortman and Brian was at home the very next morning with information and suggestions. To Brian's credit, he did NOT try to sell me the top of the line stove. Instead, he suggested the more modest Quadra - Fire Classic Bay. Throughout this process, Brian worked very hard at assisting me in my decision and making things right. Brian Wortman exhibited outstanding character and integrity throughout this process.
On one occasion when I visited the Bellville showroom, Levie Randolph mentioned that the Lewis Center showroom had a Mount Vernon AE in porcelain Blue that looked pretty sharp. When I told him that I was going to be returning to Columbus the next day around 9:00AM, Levie said that he was working the Lewis Center store that day and he would be happy to let me look at the stove at that time even though the store was not scheduled to open until 10:00AM. Sure enough, the next day when I showed up shortly after 9:00AM, Levie let me in and showed me the Mount Vernon AE in porcelain blue, which ended up being the stove I purchased. Levie Randolph and store manager, Jeffrey Nelson were very accommodating and helpful detailing me on the pellet stoves.
I also want to thank Steve Thurber and Ben Bilger, who installed my stove. They took great care to be very considerate of my house by being very neat, clean, and meticulous in paying attention to detail. They put drop clothes down where they were walking and were very exact in their measurements.
Once again NCI, THANK YOU for doing such a fine job in assisting me in the purchase and installation of my pellet stove. Your employees were outstanding in the way cared about me and my home. They exhibited the highest standards of character and integrity!! You are very fortunate to have Brian Wortman, Levie Randolph, Jeffrey Nelson, Steve Thurber, and Ben Bilger working for you!

We are so fortunate to have found Fireside. We had an old wood insert that was no longer safe to use and had been told by others that there was no option other than to tear down and rebuild the entire chimney. Jeffrey came out to our house to help explore options and we ended up with a beautiful, convenient and warm gas insert. Can't wait for winter!

I got a phone call from Jeff about email request I submitted the past weekend. He sent me the manual I requested (pdf file) and helped me understand possible problems we have with wiring on controls for our Heat & Glo fireplace. I greatly appreciated his time and expertise. Last fall my husband and I explored fireplace options. He preferred gas. I disliked the gas unit my parents had; I disliked the ever-present "hiss"; I disliked having to light it, even using a long-handled lighter. I like the aesthetic ambiance a natural fireplace creates. I skeptically agreed to a gas insert. I love it! Jeff and Mike were responsive to our (my!) questions and concerns. The unit was professionally installed in a timely manner. It looks like a natural fire. There is no "hiss". We light it with a remote. It's clean and instant and efficient. Best of all, the gas insert directs the heat it back into the room. We kept the thermostat set low all winter. No need to heat bedrooms all day. The fireplace kept our family sitting room cheery and comfy-cozy warm.
My husband and I are building in NC, but that didn’t keep Jeffrey from handling us in a very professional manner. He not only educated us and answered questions, he guided us to a better product than what was quoted by our builder’s rep. and saved us about $1700! It was a very positive experience and we couldn’t be happier with Jeffrey’s attitude and service. Do not hesitate to go here! Nice showroom and even nicer people!
My review has much to do with Jeff, the technician. I bought my home 6 months ago and was unfamiliar with the 8000 TRC fireplace. After much research, I uncovered that Fireside was an authorized dealer. I put in an inquiry to request service, but instead, both Jeff and Wayne suggested that I walk through a trouble shoot over the phone. Jeff walked me through the process as well providing additional information on items I should look for in the future. This is a pure example of how to exceed in customer service. Jeff and Wayne, thank you for making feel comfortable through my issues.
Our furnace "died" on Wednesday night and we awoke to a very cold home Thursday morning. We have two fireplaces that had not been used since the last maintenance call in June of 2014. I frantically called NCI on Thursday morning and left a message. Jeffrey Nelson, who was not even in the office that day, called from his mobile phone when he saw an e-mail that had been sent out. He was so knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. We got both fireplaces up and running in no time. Our new furnace will be installed next Tuesday. Mr. Nelson is an asset to your company and, thanks to him, we are staying warm. Thanks again, Mr. Nelson!
